Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) postpone Karachi ODI

As the Pakistan Cricket Board delayed the forthcoming ODI and Test match against Bangladesh, another international series succumbed to the Coronavirus outbreak.ODI was originally scheduled for April 1 and the test match, that is the second of the series-Test Championship-slated to begin on April 5. All games were planned to be played at Karachi’s National Stadium. Currently, the test series that began after a lot of deliberation is 1-0 for Pakistan. The hosts defeated Bangladesh by an inning, and last month in Rawalpindi, 44 runs in the match. The PCB has confirmed that they will work with the Cricket Board of Bangladesh and find a time to complete the series later.

The board also rescheduled the Pakistan Cup indefinitely. The originally scheduled launch of the domestic one-day competition was on March 25. The virus, deemed by the World Health Organization to be a pandemic, has contributed to the suspension of major sporting events worldwide. England’s tour of Sri Lanka, South Africa’s tour of India, New Zealand’s tour of Australia has also been influenced as a result of international cricket.
